Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start my bowel prep? +
Typically, bowel prep begins the day before your colonoscopy. Your doctor will provide specific timing. The Miralax prep video walks through the exact schedule.
What if I have trouble drinking the prep solution? +
Try drinking it cold, using a straw, or sucking on a lemon wedge between sips. If you are unable to keep it down, please call our office for guidance.
How long does the PillCam procedure take? +
The entire PillCam recording process typically takes 8 hours. You swallow the capsule in the morning and return the sensor belt in the afternoon. Watch the instructional video for full details.
Are these videos available in other languages? +
Currently we offer the Miralax prep video in English and Spanish. Additional languages may be added in the future. Contact us if you need assistance in another language.
